day 5

today we got woken up by jessica so all of us can eat breakfast and so we can leave early to go meet these two guys to work with them on a trail. The two guys came to us too take us to the trail so we can help make the trail better. when we got there we got out and they started to talk to us about how the trail is being affected by rain and small trees and how they are getting to close to the trail and how we can help. The guys told us that we could be split up into groups and get the job done faster so they split us up. the first group was college student and some high school students to work on a sign that will show tourist the way to the path. and the second group was supposed to work on the trail by using different equipment life hand saw's to cut down some trees close to the trail. so what i did was that i made these long thick water flowing system thing to make the rain water flow to the forest and stopping the rain water from affect the trail by making it thiner when the rain makes the dirt into mud to ruin the trail. so that we stopped that by making those then i moved down the trail to make more and more and more. so when i was doing that me and my partner ran into some tree roots that are thick and have to get ride of by a axe to chop them in half. so when we were done we walked the trail to a lake slash river witch is a mile long so all of us meet up at the lake so we all ate lunch there. then when some people got done eating they went swimming in the lake that took about 45 minutes then we got told that are van was going to another spot to remove these fire grates that are not supposed to be there. so we removed one of them and it was heavy so it took about 4 people to move it so then we had to throw some rocks back into the woods so people wont make another fire pit with rocks then we bagged up  some ashes then put sticks and tree pines over the ashes that was left over from being bagged up so we put that stuff over to make it look natural like nothing was there so we did that to 4 fire grates. that took about 45 minutes to do then we left and came back to the camp then we took showers then ate dinner
